Hi K,I have not heard of a contraindication of Profound in patients with rosacea. My clinical experience in treating patient with redness on their face is that the Profound RF treatment heating of the skin actually results in improvement of facial redness. Given that Profound RF is a bipolar radiofrequency machine, it coagulates blood vessels, meaning it dries them out. This theoretically can even help with Rosacea. It won't be a treatment for Rosacea but definitely won't make it worse.
