I was diagnosed with rosacea about two years ago. Would I be a candidate for Profound?

I have not heard of a contraindication of Profound in patients with rosacea.  My clinical experience in treating patient with redness on their face is that the Profound RF treatment heating of the skin actually results in improvement of facial redness.  Make sure to discuss this and all of your medical history with your treating physician at your consultation and before any treatment.  Good luck and be well.

Given that Profound RF is a bipolar radiofrequency machine, it coagulates blood vessels, meaning it dries them out. This theoretically can even help with Rosacea. It won't be a treatment for Rosacea but definitely won't make it worse.
