My skin is sagging around my mouth and jaw I am only 26. I can see the line vertical from my lip getting worse each day, it’s from sleep and not expression. It disappears when I smile. I take good care of my skin and always wear moisturizer and sunscreen but I’m always a bit dry. What can I do about this line/the sagging? Do I need a mini facelift on the lower half of my face?

Answer: Lip lift and fat transfers You should consider a lip lift. However, very little would be taken out centrally but the majority would be taken out laterally. This will correct the lines that are forming at the corner of your mouth. You may also benefit from fat transfers at the same time. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: What can I do about this line/the sagging? Facelift? (Photo) At 26 years of age, your facial skin is as healthy and firm as it will ever be. I think it's a bit early for a facelift. Some young people do benefit from facelift surgery, but these cases are much more often a result of extreme weight gain followed by extreme weight loss. I think hyaluronic-type fillers would work very nicely for you for these "lines" that bother you. The volume enhancement of filler can also be used conservatively to "lift" areas that appear sagging. I recommend that you see either a plastic surgeon or nurse injector with lots of experience in injectables for an evaluation and treatment. The nice thing about the HA fillers is that they are reversible if you are not satisfied with how they look. Best of luck!
