My face look bloated and pear shaped probably because of my jaw bones or/and cheekbones. I like manly jaw but I want more angular, sharp, narrow and like square face, not round. Can my jaws and/or cheekbones be shaved some? Or is there any other option? Thanks a lot.. Your answers are appreciated.

Answer: My face looks bloated - shave jaw and cheekbones? Hi, based upon the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, men look chiseled and handsome with angularity in the cheeks, chin and mandibular angles. From the photos, your cheeks are flat anteriorly (in the front). This creates a rectangularly shaped face but does lack angularity in the cheek area. The following procedures would create a more ruggedly handsome face. Cheek augmentation with cheek implants (for a permanent enhancement) or with dermal fillers (for a temporary augmentation) to add angularity to the cheeks and mid face. Augmentation of the mandibular angles using a dermal filler (jaw implants have too many unwanted side effects IMHO) to add volume, angularity and flare to the jaw line. The third area in which facial angularity can be created in a general sense is with Chin augmentation, using a chin implant, to add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. Your chin appears fine and this is included for general informational purposes.Hope this helps.
