I got severe upper eye lid exposure and hollowing. I saw amazing results with dermal fillers injected into the brow area to cover the upper eyelids a bit. This is exactly what I want - how dangerous is it? Is it possible to turn blind? Lumps? Also, for the exposed under eye area (no orbital rim support) - I would want to get fillers as well. Same questions there - risks of blindness, nerve damage etc. there?

Answer: Treating upper eyelid exposure and hollowing Injecting around should be done by an experienced surgeon. You should ask to see examples of results of patients similar to you. Soft hyaluronic acid last 6 to 12 months. Firmer, longer lasting injectables have more risk of lumps. Risks are possible but extremely rare. Fat transfer has more initial swelling but results will last many years when performed by an expert.
