Injecting around should be done by an experienced surgeon. You should ask to see examples of results of patients similar to you. Soft hyaluronic acid last 6 to 12 months. Firmer, longer lasting injectables have more risk of lumps. Risks are possible but extremely rare. Fat transfer has more initial swelling but results will last many years when performed by an expert.

The injection of fillers or fat are excellent techniques to improve the contour and fullness to establish the desired appearance of  youthful eyelids.  There are risks in every procedure; blindness has been reported but it is very, very rare; I don't know any surgeon who has had this problem.
