A little history about why I’m asking: I have been self conscious of my teeth since I was a child. I had an accident when I was 5 which rendered my adult teeth scarred and short. It has prevented me from smiling ever since I was a child. That being said, I’m considering getting veneers after my Invisalign and want to know if emax are really worth the extra cost. I love to eat and don’t want to live my life in fear that I’ll break a tooth. Pics of Angie because she has my dream smile
Answer: Emax normally is NOT an extra cost Usually there is no difference in fee from brand of porcelain. The fee is for the service (however there CAN be a material surcharge, usually when doing gold). Emax is one of the most common porcelain materials out there. I don’t charge extra for emax and I don’t know any dentist that does.

Answer: EMax Veneers, Veneers, Porcelain Veneers, Cost, Smile Makeover I appreciate your question. In my opinion, there is no better investment than investing in yourself and your smile. I have often heard from my patients who waited a while before getting veneers “Why didn’t I do this sooner?” as they spent the majority of their lives being self conscious about their smile. If you feel that it will bring you the confidence to smile more and feel better than nothing can beat that investment. e.MAX veneers are very strong, but as with your natural teeth, if you were to bite down on something awkwardly or very hard (such as a cherry pit, almond, utensil etc) it can fracture. Being careful and on top of your oral hygiene (as you would with your natural teeth) will allow you to maintain your veneers for a long time. Your best bet is to get an in-person exam with an experienced cosmetic dentist. Best of luck! Dr. Neil Hadaegh #beverlyhillsdentist #cosmeticdentist

Answer: Is eMax worth the cost? Absolutely! However, eMax is the standard porcelain most cosmetic dentist use for your type of situation, so I would be skeptical paying more. That being said, all eMax veneers are not the same and the most esthetic ones are made by a custom layering process. Some dentist use a Cerac milling machine for eMax veneers, which I don't recommend. Without getting technical, it comes down to the lab and ceramist your dentist is using. I would seek out an expert cosmetic dentist whose work you love, and has good reviews.
