I read that both work by targeting oil glands. I’ve tried everything else from Accutane to Spironolactone to dietary changes and birth control and numerous prescriptions topicals, as well as dermatologists in two different countries. My friend told me about blue light photodynamic therapy and upon researching it I discovered smoothbeam. How are they different/similar and which one is more effective?

The Smoothbeam / VBeam combination is a great for acne, acne scarring and redness. It is not necessary to stop Retin Abefore the treatment unless it was making you so red it would interfere with the evaluation of your skin.
