I noticed that my donor area is thinner than 10 years. Now i can see my scalp on the sides of my head. I wanted to get a hair transplant to hide the general thinning on the top of my head. I am really worried about having DUPA and to not be a good candidate. What do you think? Thank you

Answer: You cannot diagnose your hair loss condition with a photos. DUPA is diagnosed with a microscope examination.
It is very difficult to fix a bad hair transplant, cobble stoning, or scarring. Scar removing gels will not likely help. Unfortunately there is no clear solution to the scarring.
Yes, you can consider getting laser hair removal but I have no idea how bad the result is. You should discuss with your surgeon to see what he could do for you to solve this problem.
If you are losing hair and want treatment options you should schedule a consultation with a doctor for the exact reason of possibly losing more hair in the future. You need an examination and a face to face discussion of what to expect with the realistic results your doctor can provide.
