this is a normal response to vascular lasers if they are looking for purpuric settings.  I suggest you speak to your physician about the type of treatment they were looking to accomplish.  Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question and photo. What you are experiencing is a normal reaction following treatment with a laser that targets blood vessels. Often the blood vessels will become darker ("bruise like") or more noticeable following treatment before resolving with time.I hope this answer is helpful! Best of luck.

This is a normal response to the laser in some cases. This is called purpura which is blood which was leaked into the tissues as the vessel was injured by the laser. It should clear up in about a week. This is not damage from the laser and there shouldn't be any concern.

Thank you for your question. Often times with the larger caliber veins in the legs and around the nose the treatment will induce blood clotting in the veins. This is an entirely normal response and you should have an excellent response. It will take a few weeks to fully resorb.
