I have done direct composite with my two front teeth. One teeth has a very small chip that somehow made it a bit aligned with my small teeth. And my dentist made my two teeth look bigger in order to be balance with my one lateral. Is it okay to remove it permanently? It makes me feel uncomfortable. I ask if how he prepare my teeth and told me that it he just remove bit of my enamel. Just a scratch like that

Answer: Removing veneers Hello and thank you for your question. The best way to answer this is with an in-person evaluation, but yes it is possible to remove veneers, but it will alter the tooth underneath. I recommend getting a consultation with a Prosthodontist, who can discuss with you the different types of veneers and how removal would effect the health of your teeth. A Prosthodontist is a dental specialist who has advanced training in restoring teeth and can create a customized treatment using the latest techniques in dental veneers.

Answer: Composite Veneers They can be removed, but most likely a small amount of enamel will be removed in the process. That's not a big deal, though. If the underlying tooth structure wasn't prepared much, you'll be fine.
