Color of drainage after butt implant revision of 1 implant?

This is impossible to answer without an exam. Its important to listen to your surgeon and follow your post operative instructions closely to avoid complications. Please be sure to choose a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and is well known for their work in the medical community.

It is very hard to answer this without additional information. The colour is not a total telltale regarding the nature of the draining fluid.Delayed seroma would be the most frequent, but not the only explanation.In a delayed seroma, which is a possibility, the treatment you report makes a lot of sense, but the most important that would be to get a culture swab of the fluid to exclude any infectious process.

 Unfortunately this is a difficult, if not impossible, question to answer without more information, photos, and in particular an in-person physical exam. If you had your surgery within the last several days, it is quite possible and normal for the fluid to be more dark red (blood) colored. If you’re surgery was further out than a week or so then it is a bit more unusual for it to still be a dark colored fluid. That being said, I would encourage you to address these concerns immediately with your operating surgeon. Hope this helps.
