I had my bbl and lipo about 8 months ago. I’m not happy at all, my lipo didn’t turn out good and my butt has flat spots and hip dips. Also one cheek is smaller than the other. My surgeon doesn’t want to correct this without cost, but this was not my fault. My hips are super irregular as well. I’m depressed and crying everyday. This is my body and I feel like a got a really bad job. I’m not being listened to and he just has excuses. I’m a sad patient but all I get is attitude. What can be done?
Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.

Answer: BBL Revision Hello and Great Question. I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure. My name is Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel. I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon, and a Butt Augmentation Specialist. It does appear that the liposuction portion could have been done a little more aggressively. With that said, each surgeon and their technique will be different. When it comes to revisions there should be a form you signed either at consult or before surgery explaining the doctors revision policy. I would recommend to go back to your surgeon and have a talk about your concerns once again. I hope that helps! Best of Luck! Matthew J. Answer: BBL revision Dear MissM83,Every surgeon has a revision policy. Many involve reduced or even no fees for the surgeon (depending on the situation) while the patient may still be responsible for facility (the use of the operating room, staff, and supplies) and anesthesia fees. Best to go back to your surgeon and have a talk about your concerns again. Answer: Dissatisfied with Liposuction Results Hello, Financial matters are usually covered in the informed consent which you signed. Typically, cost for operating room and anesthesia for revision surgery is the patient's responsibility. Smart surgeons who want to make their patients happy are not going to levee a surgeon fee, though. That is reasonable if this is the case in your circumstance. Although he could have been more aggressive with your hip fat (and placed that in your buttocks), and perhaps a little more from your lower abdomen, overall your results are within the standard of care. Your alternative is to go to an ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeon who specializes in revision body contouring, which would be more costly. Best of luck!
