When is a bad nose job "Irreversible"?

A nose is irrepairable when the skin cover or mucosa lining fails massively or is lost.Otherwiser your case may get total, subtotal or significative repair; seek opinions from good revision surgeons.

A revision cosmetic rhinoplasty  or functional nasal surgery is more difficult than a primary surgery,   So choose your second surgeon based on experience.  A thorough internal and external examination of the nose and an in-person examination /consultation is required to make a determination of what may be causing  the obstruction.

I have never seen a nose that can not be improved at least somewhat. There is always rib cartilage available to reconstruct the framework if the native cartilage is damaged. I would recommend visiting with a few other revision rhinoplasty surgeons. Best of luck

It is highly unlikely that nothing can be done.  There are several techniques in a revision specialist's toolbag to help even the most complex nose.  Cartilage grafting (rib or ear), boney recontouring, Spirox implants, tissue thinning, and internal scar revisions are all things that may help.  As an aside, we are a research site for the Spirox implant and have seen some nice results.  Even with the worst noses, I don't recall anyone not being able to get some improvement.
