I got a mini breast/areola reduction a month ago and originally my Areolas were very small but as this month passed by they have stretched. Will they continue to stretch? I now have large Areolas which was precisely what I was trying to avoid. I'm very upset with my results and I'm now considering an areola reduction.

Answer: Mini Breast Reduction - Areola changes Areola stretching is quite common after this procedure and unfortunately it is difficult to prevent. Usually this happens pretty quickly postoperatively as the scar is healing. In your picture, you nipples appear to be quite a good size for your breasts and I would not consider revision until you have given it more time to settle and your scar tissue to heal. #PlasticSurgery #BreastReduction #Nipplestretching #Recovery

Answer: Areaola stretching after BR THe photos you sent show your nipple areolas to be a good size for you breasts. Since healing is not complete yet, I would wait at least three months before deciding on revision to reduce their size. Chances are good you will not need firther surgery.
