After 12 laser hair removal sessions, can you start to space them 12 weeks apart?

I've done 12 sessions of laser hair removal, and my hair is 90% gone, majority still needs lasering in the Brazilian area. Should I go every 6 weeks for just the Brazilian area, and every 12 weeks for whole body? Is 12 weeks too much of a gap? What should my intervals at this stage be?

Thank you for your question in regards to laser hair removal. Laser hair removal is a series of treatments to reduce the growth, color and texture of hair. After 12 treatments and 90% of hair reduction, you should only have to have "touch up" treatments when you have actively noticeably hair growth. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Glad to hear you've got such good
results.  90% clearance of hair is a huge success!  I feel that every
6 weeks on the bikini is good timing until you've reached your desired degree
of hair reduction.    The other areas at 12 weeks apart are fine for
touching up on the remaining hair that is left.  I think it's important to
note that 100% removal of hair on any particular area is typically not
realistic.  As always, I would suggest a good consult with your laser
specialist to ensure you reach your goals.

Thanks for your question.  Obviously your service provider has not explained how LHR works.  Hair Removal Lasers target the melanin in your hair shaft.  The energy follow the hair shaft down into the follicle, heating it and destroying its ability to produce another hair.  At this point, you should only get additional treatments when you have hair actively growing that you have to shave.  Best of luck.

You don't really lose anything by spacing our your treatments. Once a hair follicle is destroyed by the laser, it will not regenerate. The interval allows other hair follicles to enter the growth phase.

After 12 seesions of laser hair removal, you should not need  any more laser treatment. The avrage of sessions is around 8 sessions, So there is somthing wrong here. Please consult your Doctor do exclude any hormonal inbalance,Ovarian cyts, or similar conditions.
