These spots can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. It will take a series of treatments for improvements with laser hair removal and some people need treatments to maintain. I'm sorry this has happened to you. The darker skin types need the 1064 laser for hair removal and still caution needs to be done. You were over treated and the skin reacted by hyperpigmenting. If the hair is thin and/or inadequate settings are used, there is a risk for paradoxical hair growth with laser hair removal. It is especially true for those of Mediterranean heritage. I would try chemical peels, retin A, and hydroquinones. If still a problem after 3 months, consider light laser treatments with a 1064 laser and/or Fraxel 1927 laser.
