7 months post rhinoplasty. What is this weird shaped donut thing beneath my nose preventing my lip curl? (photo)

I had Rhino 7 months ago. Columella lifted. Tip made smaller. I am noticing more and more this very strange bubble when I try to kiss or smirk or smile. Tell me this is going to go away?

There can be changes in the upper lip after rhinoplasty.  There are almost never permanent.  The smile you are making is very exaggerated...I wonder if that fullness is less apparent with a more natural smile.  Also, it would be interesting to see a photo of you with that same smile prior to surgery.  The tissue may have piled up like that prior to surgery and you weren't aware.  Either way, if it is a result of surgery it will likely get better with even more time.

Hi Gioa,
Please ask your surgeon if a pre-maxilla/paranasal implant was used during  your Rhinoplasty surgery. An over-sized implant may cause this kind of issue.
