I am very unhappy with my result. It did not last even 2 weeks! According to Dr. she uses bicarb " to make the injection less uncomfortable and painful" and dilutes with bacteriostatic water, but on official web sites instructed to dilute with Sodium Chloride.
I had to come three times to add more units. And overall I received 135 units of Daxxify. Does she uses the right way?
Answer: Daxxify reconstitution and dose equivalents explained Hi there, this is a great question that is difficult to answer. Daxxify, like all neurotoxins, is reconstituted with bacteriostatic normal saline. However the peptide that has been added to Daxxify that helps increase longevity also gives it more of a sting when it’s injected. Some practitioners will mix in a little sodium bicarbonate solution along with the bacteriostatic normal saline to help reduce the sting. This is usually mixed in proper amounts and the product maintains its potency. I cannot speak to what specific dilution your practitioner used or if the placement/amount of units were sufficient, but I can explain how the dosing works.100u of Daxxify are equivalent to 50u of botox. Therefore, if you usually get 20u of Botox in your frontalis for horizontal forehead lines then it would require 40u of Daxxify for that area alone. If you normally get 20u of Botox in your glabella (the 11s/frown area) then it would require 40u of Daxxify. If you normally get 20u of Botox in your crow’s feet then it would require 40u of Daxxify. So if your usual amount Botox to treat those three areas is 60u then the equivalent dose of Daxxify is 120u.A lot of practitioners are more conservative when treating a patient with Daxxify the first time due to the possibility of it lasting longer — you can always add more, but you can’t remove it. This could be the case for you. Without a ‘before’ picture for comparison I can’t say how much smoothing was achieved but it does look as if some of your movement has been paralyzed.I would recommend addressing your concerns with your current practitioner, as I said earlier, there is no way for me to know exactly how the Daxxify was reconstituted in regard to strength/spread or how much/where it was placed — and no other practitioner will know those details either. Best of luck!

Answer: Should follow manufacturer's instructions for Daxxify preparation.. Sodium bicarbonate ("bicarb") is often added to lidocaine anesthetic to make it less painful when injected, but its use with Daxxify has not been studied to my knowledge and it may have been the reason for your poor results. It would be informative to know how Daxxify worked if you subsequently had treatment with Daxxify that was prepared according to the manufacturer's recommendation with sodium chloride.

Answer: No result after 135 units. Did my doctor use it the right way? Photos are great! I recommend use of the Daxx injection in 20-30 units, though the fee triple ($1,200-$1,800) that of the other neuro modulators I think that will offer you more results in tome. But understand there is never a guarantee.
