Dr. Castro is amazing. There’s a reason I drive an hour to see her. She is committed to natural Enhancements and I never come out looking over done. She has no problem telling me if she thinks I’m requesting too much product. Love love love her!!!
Great doctor, I love Botox and plan on getting it again with Dr. Castro. I Always Have a great Experience with Dr. Castro! Her office and staff are always the utmost professional you want in An aesthetic practice.
Dr. Castro is an incredible doctor. Our initial consultation was an immediate connection, and she answered all of my questions/concerns with patience, warmth, and candor. Gentleman, BOTOX IS FOR BOYS TOO :-). As a man, I was initially worried about the whole experience. I didn't want to look too frozen, or like one of the real housewives lol. Unfortunately, years of no sunblock, poor hydration, high stress/cortisol levels and little sleep started to create deep set lines between my eyebrows, and along my forehead. A light touch later from Dr. Castro, and I look 5 years younger, awake, refreshed and completely natural. Another side effect: The eczema on my forehead has cleared and smoothed substantially. A combination of the aforementioned stress and lack of sleep created a chronic dyshidrotic eczema rash of blisters along my forehead for years. Constant itching, burning and pain. Dr. Castro doesn't claim this as a side effect, but unexpectedly as I continued to get treatments (once every three months) my forehead smoothed out completely and reverted to how it looked pre-eczema. I don't know if its a placebo effect, but even now when i get occasional flare ups they arrive and subside much faster. (I wouldn't be surprised if years down the line, scientists and dermatologists discover an eczema/botox correlation). Thank you so much Dr. Castro!
Great experience all around. First time was Botox for TMJ. She brought the symmetry back to my jawline and relieved my pain! Second was a PRP facial that really smoothed my skin out. I admit that I should follow up for another one but with three kids I just haven’t made the time. I also got IPL laser and noticed a brighter, more even appearance right away. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you Dr C!
Excellent! Dr. Castro has been the only doctor that has addressed my concerns about my neck. She very successfully used Botox and we got amazing results. A lot less wrinkles and my neck was much smoother. I have been a client ever since.
Everything was amazing from start finish!! I went to Dr. Castro looking to just enhance my features (my lips and my chin) a little and she was perfect and kept it natural. The procedures were painless, I did not bruise, and to my surprise my swelling was minimal. She talked me thru everything she was doing as she was doing it which kept me calm. You can tell she takes pride in her work, she loves what she does, and she cares about her clients. I would recommended and have recommended her a million times over!!
Okay, so I have tried quite a few doctors including the groupon deals for botox, fillers and laser treatments only to be disappointed with the results. Luckily a friend recommended Dr. Castro and I can't tell you what a difference she has made in my appearance. She has been treating my skin for over a year now and I can not be happier. She is an EXPERT injector, what a difference from the other docs I went to. I recently had my brows done and WOW they look amazing...friends even have asked if I had a brow lift! The best part of all is I still look like myself, not like that weird over plumped-frozen face you seeing wandering around town now a days (LOL) If you're worried about Covid, the office is immaculate and they take every precaution to keep you safe. Shelia, the office manager could not be nicer and best of all you will never feel pressured into any product or procedure. They do run really good specials during the year so I suggest following Highbrowandbeauty on Instagram. Do not hesitate to go to Dr. Castro you will love how you look and believe me it really helps to look your best during these crazy time. Good luck and stay safe:)
Dr Tina Castro and her staff are fantastic! I have been with them for a couple years now for my regular facials as well as IPL treatments and Botox. I have Melasma and was very self conscious about it, as well as fine lines. The treatments I received were so helpful, I could really see a difference which gave me more confidence. Dr. Castro is always honest and formulated the best treatment options to treat your skin. I would never go anywhere else!
I recently made the decision to enhance my lips. Luckily I came across a lovely local physician named Dr. Castro. She was warm, funny and informative. Although I was feeling nervous, Dr. Castro was able to walk me through the short procedure and educate me on the ways to manage any pain or swelling. I arrive at 10am, Dr. Castro applied the numbing cream and after 35 min, we started. Her and her amazing assistant Sheila were gentle, and efficient. We used one syringe of Juvederm. I had zero pain after and limited swelling. I plan on booking a second session with Dr Castro soon. In just a few weeks, I’m also getting my eyebrows microbladed with Dr. Castro! Well worth it! Updated on 17 Sep 2018: The product is actually *Juvederm. Here are some pics. First pic is day of procedure. Last pic is 3 days post procedure. I am definitely going for second syringe. Dr. Castro warned about swelling and some discomfort but I didn’t really have any discomfort and very little swelling. Updated on 17 Sep 2018: First pic is NIGHT of procedure. Some swelling but nothing too crazy and no discomfort. Second pic is MORNING of procedure, before and after pics. Last few pics are 3 days Post procedure.
Thank you for your question. If you have any skin sensitivities, it will be hard to get the area numbed to prevent pain. Photofacials are usually tolerated without any topical anesthetic. This depends on how high the settings are. The other option would be a vibratory device that can be heard on your skin to help “trick your brain” and this I find works well with patients.
Hi, so jawls are usually from loose skin. It’s typically part of the aging process as we loose elasticity but in your case, the weight loss. I have seen some excellent work with POD threads but keep in mind this is only temporary (2 years). There is also jaw line filler that can help contour the jaw line and in turn hide the jawl look. Again these is all temporary. I think you have to decide if you want to spend money on procedures that will be short term vs have surgery and it will be more permanent lasting 10 years or more.
Hi. Thank you for submitting your questions. Typically we recommend 1 month in between any laser treatment to let the skin heal and to allow new hair growth that can be lasered.
Hi there, I think it’s important to know what you are taking prednisone for. If it’s for a respiratory infection vs a skin condition. Usually we want 2 weeks after any medication to resume any laser or any cosmetic treatment. Hope this helps!
I usually recommend clients to take at least 3 days off. The swelling is significant the first 2-3 days then it begins to subside. You should ice on And off the first 24 hours. You can also try arnica Montana pills the day before the procedure and then 2 -3 days after (if you don’t have any allergies no anything)
