How much filler for jawline & chin widening? (Photo)

Question

I am looking to widen my jawline and chin with fillers. Before I come in for a consultation I would like to know approximately how many syringes are needed to achieve results similar to the attached picture. I know that these are only estimates but I would appreciate getting a rough idea. Thanks in advance!

In a younger patient, custom facial implants often make the best financial sense. Placing 5-10 syringes of filler each year versus creating a customized look with silicone implants that are permanent and symmetrical. The look that you want to achieve is more easily accomplished using a CT and implants.

It can be difficult to know how much filler might be needed for an individual without examining them.  There are also a variety of fillers that could be used and each filler may need a different amount to achieve the desired result.  I do like using Radiesse along the jaw and chin because it is a relatively firm filler, so can give good projection.  I would recommend using one syringe first and then waiting a couple of weeks to see the effect.  If desired, you could always add more later.

There are so many factors to consider to determine if you are a good candidate for it, best filler to use, the right amount, etc. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.

It is estimated about 4-5 syringes of fillers (1 syringe=1ml). Not less than 4 syringes if you wanted to achieve results similar to the attached picture. 
It would be best if you could discuss and explore the possibilities with your treating doctor, as face to face consultation is always the best and pros and cons of each treatment modalities could be discussed in details.
