The company will not financially reimburse you directly. What they will do is provide your surgeon with a free implant to replace the one that leaked. In addition they will pay the surgeon up to $1200 to cover additional costs if the implant is less than 5 years old.
It shouldn't take more than a month or two. I've found that the best way to get it done is to ask your surgeon to contact their Allergan breast implant rep. The last thing they want is a dissatisfied customer, and they can get the reimbursement to happen rather quickly. Don't waste your own time on the phone; the rep is the fastest way to a solution.
Allergan is very good about fulfilling its warranty on its implants. The standard reimbursement for a saline implant is a new implant and up to $1,200 for surgical costs.
