Going on vacation with Invisalign. Need advise & tips!

I will be starting Invisalign in a couple of weeks. I have a all inclusive vacation to Mexico in September that I'm very excited for, however worried now since I will be new to wearing Invisalign. I will be eating & drinking yummy frozen tropical drinks! If I use a straw will I be ok? If I wear them less than 22 hours & more like 18 for just 6 days will I be ok & just have to add more time to my tray? Welcome any tips please
