Hello, I would suggest contacting your surgeon before doing any breast piercing since they know the exact placement of your implant and your stage of healing.
As long as you are healed there should not be a problem. We offer nipple piercing as a technique to correct nipple inversion.
Thank you for your question. If you are healed from surgery I see no reason why you can not have your nipples pierced. Check with your plastic surgeon first. Best of luck.
I appreciate your question.I would recommend that you check with your surgeon. Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you are healing at this time. The best way to assess and givetrue advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certifiedplastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Thank you for your question. Assuming your breast implant incision was placed along your breast crease, you should be able to have the piercings performed now. That said, always best to check with your surgeon.
I agree with Dr. Ferrari that you should wait another month prior to getting the nipples pierced. you would most likely be fine at this point, but why take any chances? Just make sure you realize, that even with a dose of antibiotic, and even with meticulous cleansing with alcohol or other antiseptic of the skin area, there is still a risk of infection any time a nipple is pierced because it harbors bacteria. While no one can make this risk zero, the key is, that if ever there is any sign of any infection whatsoever, any redness, increased pain, drainage, etc., make sure you don't write it off as inflammation or irritation, and get seen by your surgeon immediately just to rule out infection. Better safe than sorry. Best of luck!Dr. SubbioBoard-Certified Plastic SurgeonNewtown Square/Philadelphia, PA
Thanks for your question. First, check with your Plastic Surgeon. I believe you are stable to have your nipples pierced at this time.Make sure to wash your breasts and nipples with soap like Phisohex the morning of the procedure to avoid an infection. Follow the piercers recommendations post piercing to avoid infection. Notify your Plastic Surgeon immediately if you develop redness, increased temperature or pain in the breasts following the procedure.Best of luck
I think that if you are completely healed from you breast augmentation, then you can probably get your nipples pierced. Best to check with your doctor.
Your best bet is to ask the PS who performed your surgery. There is no set answer to your question, but I tell my patients to wait 3 months. The reason is that I want there to be a mature scar tissue capsule around the implants before the piercing. I also prefer my patients take 1 dose of antibiotics 1 hour before the piercing to minimize the risk that any bacteria (particularly Staph or Strept) that might be introduced into the bloodstream during the piercing could end up on the implants.
Hello, Thank you for your question. After three weeks, most women should be able to do light cardio and lower body workouts. It is important that the activity you choose, does not shake your implants or cause you to flex your pectoral muscles. At this stage, scar tissue is still forming around ...

A 520 cc silicone implant under the muscle for someone who is 5'7" and 120 lbs will likely result in a significant increase in breast size, likely reaching a DD to DDD cup (keep in mind cup sizes are subjective). This is considered a large implant, especially for a smaller frame. It’s i...
