I perform many BBLs for patients who clean houses for a living. I recommend that they need at least 2 weeks off from work. Lighter cleaning at that time may ok, but no lifting greater than 5 or 10 lbs.I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
I tell my patients to limit their exertion for a few weeks. I would not recommend doing heavy house work for at least 2-3 weeks after this type of surgery at a minimum.
