Hello and thank you for your question,Meticulous postoperative care is essential to optimized the "take" of the fat. Especially important is avoiding any direct pressure on the buttocks for 2 weeks following the procedure. The buttocks feel a little firmer in the months following the procedure, but this resolves with massage and ultrasound treatment. I recommend a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss the available treatment options. Best regards, Andrew Lyos, MD, FACS
HelloThe recovery after a BBL could vary depending in the case and the patient. I recommend to follow the instructions given by your surgeon and if you still have doubts talk to your doctor for a consult.RegardsDr. Israel MañonCertified Plastic Surgeon
Initially the buttocks are firm because of swelling. Most of the swelling will take about 6-8 weeks to subside but most patients have some residual swelling for 6 months or longer.
Thanks for your question. It depends on how the buttocks is healing, but usually around 3 to 6 months it should be ok. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama M.D., Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
