Radiesse aftercare skincare: how long should I wait after to go back to my normal skincare regimen?

Question

I was taking epido forte and clindamycin for several months and stopped one week prior to radiesse and botox. How long should I wait after radiesse and botox to go back to my normal skincare regimen of clindamycin and epido forte or is there even a waiting period at all? My doctor told me to do whatever I want but I want a second opinion

Yes, you can do your typical skin care regimen after Radiesse and Botox. Keep in mind, it will take several weeks for final results with Radiesse. Botox results resolve in 3-4 months. Best, Dr. Emer

Radiesse is a superb product to fill and contour the cheeks.. It is injected above the bone to lift the overlying tissues.. Usually, skin care regiments can be restored after 2 days.

In my opinion, it would be fine for you to continue your normal skin care regimen anytime after  Radiesse and Botox treatments.  Your skin care should not affect the results from the Radiesse or Botox.

There is no downtime to return to that particular skin care regimen, however you do want to avoid excessive stimulation or rubbing of the treated areas the day of the procedure.
