Do you recommend treating my excess facial red blood cells with pulse dye laser surgery? If so, what would be the average cost for the treatment in Los Angeles?
Answer: Vbeam can help reduce appearance of redness caused by chronic blushing. Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. Schedule a consultation with an expert in Vbeam and you will find it to be an excellent modality for many skin types. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Improving facial blushing with lasers (VBeam, Excel V, Vbeam), microneedling/prp Blushing is a physiologic response to heat, anxiety, etc. However, the broken blood vessels that are caused and exacerbated by blushing can be improved with lasers (Pulsed Dye, ProYellow, Excel V) and microneedling/prp. Cost will vary, but see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Pulsed dye laser I find that pulsed dye laser is extremely useful for flushing and blushing. The physiologic response of flushing cannot be stopped completely, but with pulsed dye laser treatments, the flushing response results in less redness. Maintenance treatments are needed after results are obtained. My patients usually have one or two treatments a year to keep the redness managed. Best wishes, Dr. Sawyer

Answer: Facial redness and PDL, VBeam You're describing flushing which can commonly exacerbate with heat, emotions, caffeinated beverages, cheese, spicy foods and alcohol. Avoiding these instigators can help. VBeam or PDL and BBLare good choices for shrinking the blood vessels which dilate with the above instigators and can hence reduce the flushing issue. We have also anecdotally found Fraxel laser, Venus Viva and Microneedling to help with this situation. Combined with PRP is even better as PRP helps support vascular health and all procedures help to stimulate new collagen growth in the skin.
