Does the Pulse Dye Laser help get rid of redness from KPRF? Is it temp or permenant results?
Answer: Vbeam for this is semi- permanent and will need multiple sessions combined with melapeel to improve texture. Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. Schedule a consultation with an expert in Vbeam and you will find it to be an excellent modality for many skin types. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: We have great success treating KP with creams We use a combination of creams to treat KP of the arms and the face. We have obtained significant success with this. PDL and similar lasers can help with color but not so much the texture of KP. We also combine our cream program with a three step peel as needed every several months to maintain results.

Answer: IPL vs PDL for KP rubra faceii It can help although I prefer IPL for this treatment. You will likely experience recurrence of the redness and at some point and may require maintenance treatment to keep it under control. Get evaluated to see which treatment is the best option for you. Best of luck!

Answer: Compounded creams and laser. Yes, PDL or V Beam can be used. You will require purpuric or bruising settings, spaced one month apart. 3-4 sessions for the redness. The roughness can be treated with BHA or AHA low strength creams. The natural history of KPRF is one to resolve over time (30s). As you know, its genetic, so it can return after lasers. All the best Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
