How do I get the color back in my lips? Will a chemical peel achieve this? (photos)

my bottom lip was burnt, several years ago...do to smoking and the cherry from the fire got stuck on my mac lip gloss, and when the blister healed it left my lips completely discolored, now i feel i have to always wear lipstick to conceal it . will a chemical peel are some kind of surgery help..because it's very un attractive to me what can i do..please help...

Because the color loss is the loss of melanin from the skin cells that produce it there may be several things to try to restore it.  Latisse (bimatoprost) can cause melanin generation, and can be tried as a topical preparation.  It is also possible to get repigmentation with an Eximer laser.  Lastly, a skin graft, actually from the inside of the mouth, might repigment the skin.

After several years, the pigment will not return  There are some reports of Latisse improving lost pigment when topically applied to fractional laser pixels immediatly after treatment, but I have never seen reports concerning pigment in mucous membranes.  A makeup tattoo artist that works with women post breast surgery tatooing nipples would be the individual to seek for a solution to your problem. It would be worth the search if this problem impacts your self esteem.
