Cold after chin implant, should I be concerned?

Hello, I had a chin implant placed sub-mentally 10 days ago, but now I have a sore throat and feel like a might be coming down with a cold.. Should I be concerned? I just finished 5 days of tavanic along with a week of augmenting, then 5 days of ciprofloxacin. Thank you.

It is likely that you have been exposed to a cold virus and now have a common cold. It is not likely a bacterial infection because you have been taking some strong antibiotics. Surgery is a stress on the body  and immune system and people will often "catch" another virus after having a surgery. For cold viruses, the treatment is mainly symptomatic. Give it time.

infections can be a serious problem. Even potential infections should be taken seriously. I would recommend you to check it with your plastic surgeon.
