I got chin implant under the chin silicone extended small 5mm. I got ıt out after 2 days of having it. No infection. My right side of the lip and chin very sore tight and numb. Cant move my right side of the lip. I was ın seduction when getting the implant. And felt a pain in the right side during the surgery. Now that ı cant function im that area. What cloud have happened? Is ıt permanant? It ıs 10 days past the surgery no ımprovement at all. I am devasted

It is quite possible that you have temporary loss of sensation and muscle weakness after chin surgery. Retraction of cheek, lip and other soft tissue during surgery and blunt trauma is usually the most frequent cause of this complication. Injuries of this nature would recover within 4 weeks to 6 months depending of the extent of injury, swelling, age, etc. Very few may turn into permanent loss. Be patient and stay in touch with your surgeon. Good luck.

You sound like you have numbness to your lip as a result of injury to your mental nerve.  This typically resolves over days to weeks.  In rare situations numbness can be long lasting but less severe over time.  Regarding lip asymmetry this can result from damage to the depressor muscle of the lower lip.  This can occur but  usually resolves over time.
