Would buccal fat removal make my laughing lines look worse? (Photo)

You have a contoured shape to your face and I would not advise removal of the buccal fat pads. This procedure will not change your laugh lines.In order to achieve a more chiseled appearance, you might consider silicone facial implants.... for example custom mandibular angle implants. The buccal fat pad procedure is indicated for patients who have round faces that want a slimmer face. 

Buccal fat removal address the fullness of the lower anterior cheeks ( chubby cheeks). It does not address the smile lines. However, if a patient with already deep smile lines, who has WEAK cheek bones, and undergoes buccal fat removal could look older or aged. That's why in my practice I highly recommend to enhance the cheek bones before or the same day of the buccal fat removal. THis will allow the face to achieve a more sculpted, chiseled and youthful look with less deep smile lines ( sign of aging) 

Buccal fat removal will make your face look more gaunt and the lines worse.  you’d need correction of your facial sagging which can be done with possible cheek lift, cheek implants, etc. All of these components must fit together to give you the image that you shared.
