I am 39 yrs old and would like to improve the appearance of my fair skin and diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I recieved gift certificates for a microderabrasion and one for a TCA chemical peel. How long after the microdermabrasion should I wait to try the chemical peel?

TCA peels can be done the same day as a micro dermabrasion and is important to have good aftercare such as a cortisone lotion, sunscreen and bleaching cream.  Everyone should be getting at least a medium peel every yr or several light ones each year to keep their skin looking great.  Sincerely,

While a chemical peel can be done the same day after the microdermabrasion, you need to be careful to have a very experienced person doing your treatment. The microdermabrasion will enhance the effect of the chemical peel by allowing for deeper penetration of the acid. This can either give you a nicer, enhanced effect in experienced hands, or an unwanted effect for someone who is inexperienced.
