I have done a TCA peel and got a redness on my face, mainly in patches between my brows, on and around my nose, chin and neck. There is a spot where the TCA peel dripped a bit and you can still see where because i have 2 red stripes on my neck. So i was wondering if this will ever go away? And if not what can i do and is it safe to do other procedures? Also can doing another TCA peel help reduce my redness that i got from this one?
Hello, I did the tca cross 6 months ago exactly, but the redness on the face ( cheeks area) are still present in the places of the scars, yes the redness has gradually improved a lot than the previous ones, but my question is it will completely disappear? or will there be a permanent pigmentation?, knowing that I used vitamin C Serum after 3 months of the procedure, and thank you.
I had tca peel with dermatologist in 2021 . I did everything as instructed but my amine was left with some red dots that eventually turned white . Is there any treatment, laser that can help with this ? What about IPL? Or Microneedeling? Anything? I am 34 years old white Caucasian woman. Thank you!
Over 3 months ago i had TCA cross done by a dermatologist for treatment of deep acne scars. The healing post treatment has been one of the most traumatic experiences. All research online told me that it would take a month to heal but here i am 3 months later and my face is red and filled with larger more prominent holes. I really need some advice. I feel like this is not normal but my derm seems to think so. Its causing me some extreme stress atm.
Tca cross redness still there after 8 months Got tca cross done by doctor for acne scars. Scars have improved a lot but its very red even after 8 months an the healing is like forming a ring like healing. Meaning if it was a circle scar, the center has lifted but edges are still down. What to do? Please help
i had small ice peck scars and i did TCA with a doctor but after 2 weeks it looks worst than my previous. is this normal? my doctor say need to wait for a month for this redness to go off? i like to seek 2nd opinion.. it looks worst than BEFORE what can i do to spped up the process or what should i do next?
I am about to turn 40, and a friend insisted that she could take nearly 10 years off of my face through a 50% TCA Chemical Peel. Everything seemed okay, but after 5 days I noticed that my cheek area (both sides) had developed a bright red rash which is a bit swollen, feverish, and somewhat uncomfortable. Was it too strong for me? When will this subside and what can I do to make it better? I feel stupid and had never done anything like this before and never will again.
I had upper blepharoplasty and a lower chemical peel 35 % tca. I am still SO pink/red! Could this be a bad reaction? Will it ever go back to my normal skin color? I always worn very little to no makeup and I actually had to go purchase makeup to cover this up for public outings. Im terrified it will never look normal again and Ill always look like a raccoon. I sent photos to my plastic surgeon and expressed my concern but he told me it was normal. From what Ive seen its not.
I put 30% TCA on my scars on Saturday night... I read to dip a toothpick into the TCA and apply pressure into the scar and hold for a few seconds. My scars all appear rounded like the impression of a toothpick mark now. They dont seem to look any better at all and its been 3 days. they are wider and deeper and slightly scabbed over and the scabs that have come off are BRIGHT red... Any suggestions on what I can do? Or if this is normal? Or how bad did I damage my skin? Thanks
I had a 15% TCA peel done at a clinic 5 days ago. I'm not sure but I think I may have had a bad reaction as some areas still feel hot and a bit sore when I put cream on. Anyway, I was very stupid to peel some skin away myself on one side of my face, and my skin is fairly red/pink under it. Is this likely to fade in time? I wish I'd just been patient and left it.
