How long after Asian double eyelid surgery till I can get lash extensions?

My doctor recommends to wait 1 month for fake lashes but 2 months for lash extensions, which doesnt make sense to me as lash extensions are on lashes and dont even touch the eyelid. while fake eyelashes have to be glued on to the lid and ripped off. wouldnt that damage it more?
