How long does it take Accutane to be absorbed after swallowing it? Is it better to take Amoxicillin with food like Accutane?

I'm taking amoxicillin and accutane at the same time for severe acne and I wanted to know how long it takes after swallowing for these drugs to be absorbed. I also wanted to know if it is better to take amoxicillin with food because I know it is better to take accutane with a fatty meal.

Accutane is better absorbed with a fatty meal and more of the medication gets into your system this way. Amoxicillin can be taken with or without food. The breakdown of the pills themselves depend on what you are taking it with, so it's hard to give you an exact time length on that, but within a few hours they start to break down, with the digestive cycle.
