The TRUSCULPT ID uses monopolar radiofrequency to heat the deep fat. The energy dissipates after leaving the fat. The muscle layer of the abdomen is not heated and the uterus sits under this muscle. Just out of principle, I would not recommend treatment if endometriosis is flairing.....
Under most circumstances, mesh does not involve implanting metal such as staples. Just like a microwave, would not want to treat over metal implants. However, typically metal not used in hernia repair.
