 My scab has unusual yellow color, is this something to worry about? What treatment do you recommend for after the wound is healed to minimize scaring?

This can be improved with a combination approach of lasers, microneedling/prp, subcision and fillers. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi Elisa~ Thanks for your question.  It's difficult to tell from just a photograph, especially without knowing how the mole looked before, and how the biopsy was done.  It could be part of normal healing, or it could be an early infection or scar hypertrophy.  Please get in touch with your ph...
