Can PRP cause pili multigemini?

PRP will cause hair to grow and follicles to become stronger.  It takes 4-8 months though so you need to be patient.  It is pretty typical for 1 follicle to have 1-3 strands of hair coming out.  Nothing to be worried about.  Often people have increased shed for a couple weeks after PRP is done (usually starts 2-6 weeks post injections) then it calms down.  That is also nothing to be worried about.  Give it time. 

You may want to sit down with your physician to review what is considered normal on ths scalp. There are always lots of follicles on anyone’s scalp with two hairs coming out, and lots with three, and lots with just single hairs. What you have described would not be considered pili multigemini but rather a description of the normal human scalp architecture. See your physician to review further.
