I have perioral dermatitis and I also want to get dermal fillers or Botox done in the same area. I am currently taking antibiotics for the dermatitis is it ok for me to get dermal fillers or Botox done in that area when it’s not active? It won’t cause infection under the skin?

Botox is very
safe when it’s used around the eyes. It’s very unusual for Botox alone to cause
puffiness. It may however cause puffiness when used in combination with a
filler. This may go away in 3-4 months when the Botox wears off but may take
longer and thus depend on the filler dissolving.
Hello and thank you for your question. I am very sorry to hear about this deterioration in your health. Based on your symptoms, I do not think Botox is the cause of your health issues. I would seek out a neurologist to have them conduct a full evaluation and help pinpoint what might be happening...

Over time you do develop antibodies to Botox ..Xeomin is incobotulinumtoxin A that is more concentrated and you do not form antibodies to it therefore better results
