Near the area for tear trough filler is the infraorbital nerve. The distribution of numbness you are describing fits with injury to this nerve. It is possible that during injection the nerve was somehow injured and with time this should improve. Without more information about what you mean when you say "lazy eye" it is difficult to say more about this (is your eyelid droopy, area you experiencing poor vision or is your eye not moving properly?). As an ophthalmologist, I would suggest that if this does not improve you see an ophthalmologist in your area to examine your eye and give you more information about this. I hope this helps!

So it would be a surprise but, the area of numbness you describe corresponds to the territory of the infraorbital nerve. It is not impossible that during your procedure, the nerve was slightly injured with the tip of the needle or the cannula. It is highly unlikely to be significantly damaged. Having said this however, sensation may still take a few weeks to return. Be patient. It would be very unlikely for this to be a permanent problem. In terms of your lazy eye, this is a separate nerve that controls this and I suspect the process of injecting has stiffened the muscle somewhat mass arch this area and again this should improve.
