I had IPL treatment for sideburns - 6 monthly treatments. After the sixth, a few hairs were still growing, but there are many ingrown/sideway growing hairs that form a grey shadow where the sideburns would be. I was told to exfoliate regularly until these dead hairs come out. 2 months later they are still there. I started a daily 10% lactic acid chemical exfoliator recently and think they have become more visible to me - very slowly surfacing? Is there a quicker/better way of fixing this?
