Hi, you do get another computer simulation of the movement when ordering invisalign refinement. Normally, as it is a part of original treatment plan , not every dentist will show it to their patients but you can always request to see it. You can also request your dentist to avoid any further IPR. The only thing is that this can affect the planning process as IPR is suggested only to achieve best result in a given situation.

Make sure to request no IPR when your orthodontist starts the refinement process.  They can simply request no IPR, and show you the clincheck simulation as well.  Good luck!

Yes, you do get another computer simulation
when ordering a refinement.  IPR is the
dentists prerogative.  I don’t know the
specifics of your case, but IPR is used to gain space when there is
crowding.  Another way to gain space is
by tilting the teeth or expanding the arch. 
Personally I prefer to limit IPR to .2mm, just a personal
preference.  But it all depends on the
anatomy and what you are trying to achieve.

In an Invisalign Refinement new impressions are taken to establish the current state. A new clincheck or computer simulation will be made to see what improvements were made and what needs improvement.
