I had Invisalign, was wearing my retainer for a year then thought I was sterilizing it and melted my retainer. Not the brightest idea. I haven't worn my retainer in 3 months and teeth slightly shifted. Do I have to buy a whole new set of Invisalign or can I do revisions for additional money off my first case?

Answer: Invisalign Refinement After Failed Retention
It will not damage your teeth, but can affect the treatment outcome.
You should go back to your dentist to restart with tray number 1 and then
continue from there.
The Invisalign treatment should be completed before placing any implants. This is because Invisalign can modify the space, so that the implant can be properly fitted
Once the aligners are made the dentist would have to pay the
laboratory fee to the company, so you would have to cover at least that no
matter if you wore the aligner or not.
