I had a brazilian butt lift procedure done , i had 1800CC’s of fat injected per buttock cheek. My concern is that ive noticed one side is abnormally swollen/bigger more than the other , is this normal? I am 2 and a half weeks post op. Also the line across my stomach (although i massage myself as advised by my doctor every 2 days) not much difference has been seen. Will it stay like that? How long would these things take to go back to normal if so? I’m really worried!

Answer: Swelling after BBL Hi summer96!Thank you for your questions and pictures. It is normal to having swelling for up to 6 months after this procedure. As with any surgery, give it time, you are still not completely healed. I recommend addressing your concerns with your surgeon.Best of luck!

Answer: Questions after BBL With regards to the difference in size of each buttock I would say that as you mentioned its probably swelling and 2 weeks is way to early to worry about it. The line across you tummy however is more worrisome and probably represents an area that was over suctioned. However other than getting professional lymphatic massage, not just you doing some at home on your self, there's probably not much to do about it until after 6 months at which time it can be easily improved, possibly under local anesthesia. Overall, I think you got a great result, Hang in there!
