I just found out I have HPV, can I still get a BBL?

Question

i just got told i have HPV.I have no outbreaks at all. i never had any symptoms at all but during an annual check up i got told i have it. But i did my blood work like my CBC and everything came out normal. Can i still get my BBL?

HPV is an incredibly common STD. It is what causes vaginal warts and also abnormal pap smears that can lead to cervical cancer. Statistics show that if you have had 5 sexual partners you likely have HPV. Something like 1 in 5 people have it (that was what they taught us years ago when I was a medical student). As long as you are not sick, you are fine to have a BBL. If you have an abnormal PAP and your OBGYN recommended any further treatment etc., then you should wait until all of that is resolved.

Yes, it is possible because HPV is a very common infection. As you can understand studies and test are needed to see if you are clear for surgery but in general, if you seek the attention of a certified plastic surgeon, you should have a great result and a normal life.
