So I'm looking to get SMP to conceal my FUE scars. I've heard that once the skin has healed and pigment settled in, the end result isn't actually well defined dots on the skin, but rather the given area is simply darkened. As I've never seen any pictures of SMP results after healing, could you tell me if this is indeed the case.

Scalp Micropigmentation is a great treatment for FUE created scars. You should be sure that you use a permanent pigment so that you don't have to do it again every year.
Applying scalp pigmentation to your FUE scars may not give you the best results. By this, I mean that coloring in your scar tissue will not cause them to appear unnoticeable.

I am not an SMP specialist, but I refer to Sabine / Prohairclinic since I have seen a lot of her work.At a normal distance, SMP is not noticeable for a layman.
However, your FUE dr. has not done a proper job if he depleted your donor area to the point where SMP is required to disguise the problem.
