What causes a lump after recovering from cellulitis on face?

I had cellulitis develop on my cheek at the beginning of September. The infection has been gone now for over a month. My dermatologist has me on doxycycline for one month. I still have a red, raised lesion where the infected cyst was. Can this go away on it's own? What are the potential treatments for this?
