Using whitening strips on chipped tooth?

Hi I have a little chip on the corner of my from tooth, I have whitening strips but I'm wondering will it whiten my filling? Or how badly will it affect it? My teeth are a little off white so would it be noticable?

I agree with Dr. Maddahi answers that without seeing your teeth it is difficult to give you correct advice but as per my opinion you should not use whitening strips on chipped tooth and visit dentist for the appropriate treatment. Dental bonding is the treatment that will fix your chipped tooth.

Hi:Without a photo it is difficult to give you accurate advice.  Please post a photo.  Generally whitening strip do not whiten resortations and may cause tooth sensitivity if the dentin or root of the tooth is exposed.Best,Dr. Maddahi
