I do recommend refraining from overheating via exercise, hair dryers or saunas for 24 hours after the injection of Botox or dermal fillers such as Voluma, Sculptra and Restylane. After that, there is no danger in the heat having any effect on their efficacy. I hope this helps.

You're doctor should have either verbally covored, or provided a written copy of the post care instructions. The rule of thumb is to avoid sweating for 24 hours, exercise, hot tubs, massages etc.
From our prospective, steam nor sauna's should affect the lifespan of the treatments that you mentioned in your question. We tell all of our patients, to avoid some exercises, especially Yoga right after treatments. We recommend an exercise free period of 24 hours after a treatment for maximum results. The hair loss you are experiencing is likely associated with your systemic condition for which you were hospitalized and unrelated to Botox. Botox causes relaxation of the muscles, which results in smoothening of the overlying skin surface. Hair growth is unaffected.
