Will breast augmentation reduce 'armpit fat' area? (Photo)

Hi.. thank you for the question and photos... breast augmentation do not reduce arm pit fat... but you can ask your PS to combined with liposuction of that area to improve your results.

Unfortunately, a breast augmentation procedure would not reduce the fat in this area; only your breast size would be affected. That depends...  What one needs to know is what is my concern and what are my options.  This is best answered with a face to face consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has a good reputation.  You want someone who can educate you to be able to make choices that are realistic. In all likelihood, a breast augmentation will have very little effect on the excess skin and fat in the armpit area. I would recommend a visit to a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss options for this area. Best wishes

Thanks for your question and photographs.  When the breast is pulled forward by a breast implant it does also pull forward skin and fat in the armpit area and can give some improvement or tightening of the armpit area.   In addition adding some gentle liposuction at the same time as your breast augmentation will further help.

Thanks for your photos.The fat pad infront of your arm pit is separate from your breast and will not be reduced after a breast augmentation. It is best treated with Liposuction at the time of your Breast Augmentation surgeryAll the best

Thank you for your question. BA increase the size of your breast. It will not reduce the arm pit fat. If arm pit fat is only concern then liposuction can be done to reduce it. Pl see a board certified PS for evaluation and to discuss your goals.

No, I would not suggest that you undergo breast augmentation surgery if your motivation is to reduce the "armpit fat".  Breast augmentation surgery will simply increase your breast size but will do nothing to reduce the breast tissue, adipose tissue, and/or skin in the infra axillary areas.  Often, either direct excision and/or liposuction surgery is necessary to treat these areas.My best suggestion: seek consultation with well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons to discuss your goals. The front bra roll fat that is shown in your photos will not improve with breast augmentation. The best way to reduce this area is through liposuction. Thank you for sharing your photos and question. Best wishes.
